My first camera was a plastic rectangular prism with a wee viewfinder and a pretend shutter that made a multi-coloured square spin on top. I would run around the house feigning portraits of anyone who would pose for me. My first real camera didn't actually belong to me—it was the shared family polaroid. I was in awe the first time it clicked, flashed and spit out an exposure. My older brother held the picture low so that I could watch my toothy grin appear by voodoo. It was the only explanation I had: there was magic whizzing through its innards.

Now, many years later, I still find the utmost joy and inspiration in capturing moments. In 1/100th of a second, I can freeze time and tell a story. It remains as magical today as it was years ago. What I strive to give each client is their story—authentic and honest. Those little moments of gratitude that evoke feeling, transport you to place, or provide keepsakes that remind you of who you are: wonderful human beings full of love and compassion.

I can't wait to capture your story for you
